Introduction to Base Metal Clay

In this introduction you will learn how to mix Hadar's clay, how to use it, how to make test pieces, how to fire them and how to finish them - all you need to start your journey with base metal clay.

The class will include two sessions. In the first one you will mix the clay and make two test pieces. You will program your kiln with my guidance to fire these pieces. In the second session you will check whether the pieces sintered and whether your firing schedule needs adjustment. You will also learn how to bring your piece to a bright, beautiful finish.
