Hadar's Clay™ One-fire Flex Clays are specialty clays suitable for using with embossing and cutting machines such as the Silhouette Cameo or Silhouette Curio. Unlike the Traditional/Flex clays, One-fire Flex Clays can be fired in one phase only.
One-fire Flex Pearl Grey Steel works best in combination with other metals (One-fire Bronze or Brilliant Bronze and one-fire Copper) for color effects (caning, mokume-gane, and gradients). The photo shows Pearl-grey steel as part of a gradient surface, fired at mid-fire schedule. One-fire Flex Pearl Grey Steel can also be fired on its own (at 1750°) but will be too hard to bend and drill.
Please download the Instruction Manual for Hadar's Clay™ One-fire Clays.
Some other applications which do not involve embossing or cutting machines, include: punching; trimming; cutting with embossing folders; quilling; and etching, carving and engraving with hand tools.

Hadar's Clay™ is metal clay in the form of powder. The powder is already mixed with a binder and all you have to do is add water. The advantages over pre-mixed clay are that you won't have to worry about shelf life, and that you can easily bring the clay to the desired consistency. Since it contains no preservatives, the clay is very forgiving, soft, pliable, and sticks well to itself. It mixes quickly, with no mess.
